Vandana Shah is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Puff & Pipe. How did Puff & Pipe start? Well...long ago in the year 1997, she started her own business with a franchise name, but soon realized that being a franchisee was not something that was aligned with her values and the way she grew up. She's always been a hard worker, from getting her first job when she was 16, raising her son, and taking care of her husband and her family before that. She wanted to build and grow a brand. She wanted something that would reflect her business style, sense, and her distinct, strong abilities. Yet her resources were very limited. She lived in an apartment and didn't have much saved up. Vandana made so many creative and sensible choices. One day, she was traveling and came across a glass tobacco shop, she was very intrigued and decided this is the business she wanted to do because it was new, fun, and exciting. This type of business wasn't around much in 1997 in South Jersey. It was something a lot of people looked down upon back then, but, regardless of what people thought, she opened up shop! At that point she came up with the name, "Puff & Pipe". Since then, Puff & Pipe has grown into 5 locations in the South Jersey area: Turnersville, Clementon, Magnolia, Cherry Hill, and Westville.
